IOE-ISH Centenary Doctoral Scholarships

The IOE-ISH Centenary Doctoral Scholarships are a prestigious scholarship program offered jointly by the Institute of Education (IOE), The University of London, and The International Students House (ISH).

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the IOE-ISH Centenary Doctoral Scholarships are as follows:

Applicants must be citizens of a low- or middle-income country as defined by the World Bank.

Applicants must have an offer to study a full-time PhD programme at the UCL Institute of Education (IOE).

Applicants must meet the academic entry requirements for their chosen PhD programme at the IOE.

Applicants must not have previously studied or lived in the UK for more than 12 months in the past three years.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong academic track record and research potential.

Applicants must have an excellent command of the English language and meet the minimum language requirements for their chosen PhD programme at the IOE.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.

Please note that meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that an applicant will receive a scholarship, as selection is based on a competitive process.
