The Scholarship is a double degree scholarship awarded to deserving foreign students in the Queensland University of Technology with financial issues.
The Merit double degree Australian scholarships for international students are jointly sponsored by various faculties of The Queensland University of Technology.
The sponsoring faculties for this scholarship program include the QUT Business School, Creative Industries Faculty, and the Science and Engineering Faculty.

The Merit Double Degree Scholarship is not a fully funded scholarship programme. Beneficiaries would receive financial aid in the following capacities;
- For first-year students, the scholarship would subsidize your tuition fee by providing 25% of the cost. This is based on the applicant’s performance on the entrance exam.
- For International students currently admitted into QUT, the scholarship would also provide 25% of the tuition fee based on the academic performance of applicants
