The University of Melbourne offers approximately 1000 Melbourne International
Undergraduate Scholarships to international students for the 2023/24 academic year.
These scholarships are given to exceptional students who are enrolled in an undergraduate
program at the institution. Applications are now being accepted.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:
- Be a non-permanent resident of Australia and a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand
- have been offered a place on an undergraduate course at the University of Melbourne;
- not previously completed any tertiary studies
- have a secondary school grade point average in the top 3%, such as:
GCE A-levels: at least three A* grades with numerical grades and at least a 93% - average in the best three subjects
Most Australian Foundation Studies yielded an overall score of at least 98%. - International Baccalaureate (IB): a minimum score of 42
- US High School: a GPA of at least 3.9 combined with a SAT score of at least 1500 or an
ACT score of at least 31.

Benefits of the University of Melbourne ScholarshipsÂ
This scholarship offers either a $10,000 tuition fee waiver in the first year of an
undergraduate degree, a 50% fee waiver for the first three years of an undergraduate
degree, or a 100% fee waiver for the first three years of an undergraduate degree.
Selection: To determine the value of the scholarship, successful candidates are chosen based on academic merit and ranked based on their final year of high school results.
How To Apply
To apply for the ongoing Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship, you must be
accepted into the university’s undergraduate program.
There is no need for a separate application. Students who have received a course offer will
be considered automatically for this scholarship.
