University of Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarships

The Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarships are fully-funded scholarships that are awarded annually to students from developing countries who wish to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

The scholarship program is aimed at students who demonstrate academic excellence, a commitment to improving the economic and social development of their home countries, and the potential to make a significant difference in their field of study upon returning to their home country.

Eligibility 

To be eligible for the University of Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a national of, and permanently domiciled in, a developing country.
  • For the purpose of this scholarship, a developing country is defined as a country classified as low or middle-income by the World Bank.
  • Have received an offer of admission to a master’s degree program at the University of Nottingham. Please note that only applicants who have applied for admission and received an offer of a place to study can apply for this scholarship.
  • Be classified as an overseas student for fee purposes.
  • Hold a first degree at the equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree, and must have achieved this standard before applying for the scholarship.
  • Have not already studied outside of their home country.

Be able to demonstrate a commitment to improving the economic and social development of their home country, and the potential to make a significant difference in their field of study upon returning to their home country.
